She Spies

A brief episode guide
by SciFiOne - 2003

Season 1 - At a time when most shows had moody, morose characters and depressing scripts, this one was fun and light hearted with a combination of jokes, action, and eye candy. It was not great, but it was enjoyable. Thank goodness someone was willing to be happy.

SEASON 1:
Like "Cleopatra 2525" and "Charmed", this season was almost pure "Charlies Angels" format. The three lead women were cons instead of cops but they fought the bad guys for an unseen boss called the Chairman through an enjoyable slightly comic male intermediary named Jack.

The sequence might not be correct and the list might not be compete. These are the shows I saw, but we did not get it on a regular basis. The early part of the sequence is from other web sites.

Season 2 - Oops, I suspect some "suit" decided to add a moody, morose character so this show could be more like everything else on TV. Bad decision!

SEASON 2:
There was a format change this season. The three "angels" now worked out of an office with a new boss and a technical wizzard. It was sort of like the old "Girl From UNCLE" set up. There was also a new house on the beach.

The technical wizzard was great but the new boss was a downer. No matter how light hearted or funny everything else was, he was so depressing he destroyed the mood just by being on camera.

This is the last season. Three of the last four episodes were flashback style with as much or more footage from previous episodes as from the story used to tie the scenes together.

These are the shows I saw, in the order we got them. They were shown regularly this season but still late night.
